check check check!

hello my very few but loyal readers!

on with the checklist. i have amazed myself in the things i'm able to do when i put my mind to it. y'know the checklist off the top of my head in the previous post?

flowers. check!

alter mum's kebaya. check!

um.. baru plg dua atu. haha. i have decided on who will do my curtains tho.. but not my walls just yet. also, i have a colour in mind. but thats about it from the last list. in addition are:

- i've hired a videographer,

- settled the whole borang/kursus nikah thing. will be attending that in march =)

- decided on a place for honeymoon. honestly you think thats easy but for someone indecisive as me, coming to a decision was just.. mind-numbing.

on to better news.

my outfit for nikah and ambilan are ready! went down to kb ystrdy and the magic is still there in the bajus. tried them on and i just feel 'wow'. and this time i brought my shoes on and everything looks put-together and coordinated. now all i need to do is bali tudong to match the bajus and im all set!

i have a checklist on word doc and i colour code the list. green means fully paid/bought. orange means downpayment/deposit paid and red means not paid at all.

happy to see that theres loads of yellows and greens. however, a few red things jump out and the red bits are actually the crucial ones.. like jemputan! havent even visited ezy printing for a quote. lets hope by the next time i post, thats all sorted.

and since i've been good (ish) with the list from the last post, i'll finish this off with another list and hope i get them done by the next update.

- numero uno wedding invitations! alhough i would love to invite everyone via facebook, i cant really invite my boss like that, right?

- my room. paint/wallpaper, curtains and a lil' bit of furnishings.

- tudongs

-to check out the accessories at nurhayana and book the ones i want for my dates!

don't be fooled by the rock that i got

9 January 2011 marked my engagement to the man who has been with me for almost 5 years.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i am engaged!

i'm not gonna go all mushy because that can do for nikah so i'm gonna take the girly route and gush about my ring.

its the most gorgeous amazing diamond solitaire set in 4 prongs and i bring it to sleep every night. its only been 2 days so lets see how long i tahan to wear it to sleep. bukan apa, nanti garit muka or it gets stuck in my hair?

i love my ring! i was thinking of playing the demure newly engaged and wait until people ask to see it but sometimes i catch myself flashing the ring to people at the office haha. well, it depends on how biasa i am with the person. but happy to say that most people ask to see the ring =D

now on to the more serious stuff. as a reminder to myself, there is only less than 4 mths to go and since i can only run errands on fridays and sundays and there are only 4 fridays and 4 sundays in each mth, i gotta go turbo.

first and foremost, i need to decided on my bouquet for bersanding and ambil-ambilan.

secondly, alter my mum's wedding kebaya so i can wear it for my berbedak. can you believe it barely fits me? and she was 2 years older than i was when she got married. hrrmpf.

miscellaneously (is there such word?), i need to confirm on a pelamin design for the one at home, decide on how i want to decorate the house, decide on who will be decorating the house and also what to do with my room (paint? wallpaper? what colour?).

thats what i can remember right now. im still calm tho (for now..) hee. i just stare at my ring and everything goes away =p
