my bloody debit card still isnt out yet. did i mentioned that last week it got retained? no, not bcoz banyak hutang but bcoz i changed address and forgot to tell them so they obviously thought i died or sumthing. pokoknya they sed it'll be ready within four working days and its now 5 bloody working days. i went to the bank and she sed
'im sorry but its taking awhile. perhaps u'd like to come again next wednesday?'
of course i bloody will. bcoz w/o that card, i cant withdraw money. thank god i haf cash from brunei.
one good thing came out of this debit card fiasco tho, so im not that bloody pissed. and aku sja put bloody in every word bcoz its not exactly a swear word innit? aku sakai :D anyhoo, without me debit card, my shopping expenditure is less. eating out pun i order stuff thats half the price of what i usually do, but still kanyang jua. i knw students shudnt be eating out but its puasa so leave me to be. anyhoo, 2 days ago we went to ashford, crazy shopping place where the motto is guilt free shopping. well i shopped alrite! but bcoz i was using cash and not my debit card, controlling the ker-ching was easier. but i did manage to get myself a pair of skinny jeans (finally!) from levi's.
and today, when i went to the bank and got the bad news, u'd tink i wudnt go shopping bcoz of dwindling money resources. well, i did the opposite. i needed a pick-me-up. mind u, nothing expensive. im not that frivolous of a shopper, or if u may, shopaholic.
classes are going well. i almost dozed off during property law yesterday. how the bloody hell do u expect students to concentrate if u haf a lecture in a cinema? a full out cinema with black carpet and walls and a huge screen (which of course wasnt showing a movie but the lecture slides) and comfy chairs? the only thing missing were cup holders and the lecturer sed they were thre, only hidden by some sort of pull-out thingy i expect. so there i was in property, having to shake my head several times to stop myself from having a nap. the guy across the aisle for me wasnt even trying, he fell asleep 15mins into the lecture. and this was our first substantive property lecture. cant imagine how it'll get better. however, the first substantive tort lecture went well (prolly cause i did the reading) and i felt so proud of myself for not being bangang and not having to sneak peeks at anisah's or bee's notebook. faimly law and philosophy of law, i'd have to see. but so far reading for family law, i like it. and philosophy of law is done by steve pethick anyway, so i shud enjoy it.
but i've met most of my frens from last year. good to see everyone, especially teh guyd from my corridor last yr. well i've only seen dave and matt coz they do law with me, but its nice to be missed =)
hmm.. wat else? its saturday and everyone else dissapeared off to london i tink. except my hsemates. or maybe bee went off to london alredi. but jem and nis went out so i'm left house-sitting. which isnt bad bcoz i can wear watever i want around the hse haha =p it a warm day today so yea. im still thinking of wat to haf for sungkai. i wanna cook chicken but sayang since i'll be eating alone. its more fun eating chicken with other ppl. so maybe i'll haf maggie. tho i haf absolutely no craving at all for maggie. but watever fills my tummy, kan?
u ppl in london better come back with krispy kreme. i will love u forever if u do that. this especially goes to ali. we can eat donuts while crita-ing. and i promise they wont put more weight on u. just come over to my place (and as u keep saying, the walk's a bitch alredi) and we can do yoga together hahaha.
kidding. just somebody, anybody! come back with donuts for me. please. essentials dont stock my donuts anymore ='(
happy fasting everymore. another couple of weeks till raya right?
much love, be'ah xxxx
