Ramadhan Mubarak

selamat berpuasa everybodeh.

i've freezed my gym membership to give way for puasa and ramadhan. last year i didnt, coming in only for yoga and pilates. this time tho, since i knw i'll be around longer i can afford to freeze gym time =)

daus randomly asked for my banana and sour cream cupcakes. i've forgotten all about them! but now that he's mentioned it, i'm actually craving for some! so thanx to him, i need to find the recipe (or similar to it) somewhere online so i can make some. if menjadi, then insyaAllah shall give him some. kesian jua org craving wah! hehe lgipun its puasa so yea.

i had a long day out doing chores ystrdy, most of it accompanying a brother buy stuff before he flies off to study in UK for the first time. and i did something which i am quite proud of too, and which i consider quite a difficult feat.. namely get four brothers decide on their cara melayu colour (because now they dont want to wear the same colour.. so imagine choosing 6 different shades of blue and making sure none of them has the shade sudah!), buy the kain and terus potong at tailor. all in one day. during puasa. i mean, 2 of them are forever complaining of fatigue bcoz of puasa and all 4 are indecisive as h*ll. so to make all of them choose a colour and terus potong is no mean feat. banaaarrr.

speaking of tailors and baju raya.. (and i had to go thru my past 2 posts to check if i mentioned anything last time, and i havent done so at all)

i'll start from the top.

i came back from uk thinking it'll be too late to make baju raya. my tailor from last year already refuses to take new orders and to top it off, i havent bought kain so kalau kan buat emergency pun, mesti pilih kain dulu. plus i was quarantined, so kan jln bali kain pun susah! so twas quite a dilemma to be in! first time back for raya for over a week and i had no baju at all!!

long story short, thanx to shopaholic mj for giving me access to gorgeous kain. i tink i got about 6 pairs from them.. 3 for my mum, of course! then iman found me a tailor.. so managed to potong baju raya as well! the new tailor is so nice and accomodating too.. so much so that when i went kain cuci mata with bf, te bali lgi kain because i knew the tailor wud still accept! hehe. and she did when i antared the kain ystrdy. so yayyyyy! as of now, me gots meself 3 baju rayas and the sole one i made last year has only been worn twice, so will suffice for this year's as well.

funny how baju raya can make me happy.
