*hinting*

how many of us, on msn, text, basically in the electronic word, haf used that *hinting* thing to ask for sumthing directly masked as an indirect request (u get me?)?

i wont go on a tangent abt how the brunei population hints heavily at every lil need and wake, how every girl hints at her boyfren manja-ly, how kids hint at their parents for extra allowance etc etc.

thats jirin's job. *hint* (bah jirin, i gave u a leg up nie sudah.)

see what i mean thre? i just directly hinted that jirin write abt hints but masked as an indirect request.

confused?

saya pun.

okay so lets start with my own kind of waffle jargon that i'm familiar with. i've had this ninggling nagging tug at my heart (or my brain rather, or maybe even my superficial streak. whichever) lately about how *pauses to take deep breathes* a certain someone doesnt do what that certain someone used to do back when we just started, um, back then. see, tis difficult for me to say specifically (bee, i will get the hang of saying this word correctly when i see u) bcoz i dont wanna offend anyone and i dont wanna sound superficial or spoilt either.

so i was talking abt hints. i've been trying to figure out the best way of telling that person what i missed but no matter how many theoretive conversations i come up with, they all always ended up the same way -me sounding like a spoilt brat whos never thankful of what she has.

as u can see, im in quite a dilemma. i feel, erm, less appreciated in a sense that the certain person doesnt do the stuff the certain person did back then. that said, i again come off as a spoilt selfish girl bcoz, honestly, with or without the person not doing what the person did back then, i'm still pretty much very very appreciated.

so does this mean im a spoilt selfish girl?

or it means that im just a normal (as normal as any girl can be haha yes i pay heed to the guys out there) girl in much need of some tender lovin' care?

haiyyyaaaaaaa. next issue wud be how do i tell that person that i want what i want without making that person feel that i dont appreciate the person?

yes, dillema much indeed.

and this is my best, feeble, however u take it, attempt at hinting to a certain someone that i want a certain thing to be done like how things were done back then.

and yes, i do realise that this post is basically useless bcoz, as jem says in her post, subtle or obvious hints do not work. but then again, im a girl and this is wat we do.

bah eh. i've garbled much sudah. haha.

much love!

I get you. ;)

We're neither spoilt nor selfish. Us girls just have needs. And it's not that we don't appreciate our beaus and what they've done (and given).

But then when hinting fails we'll have to tell them straight out. Experientially, I hardly resort to the latter though. It's just not a girl thing to do. ;)

never have i appreciated more the strong understanding women haf of each other till reading ur comment, war.

how the hell did u knw i was referring to a guy?

haha. well... ur right abt the asking straight out. i'm not gonna resort to that. so for the time being, im waiting till that certain person gets it.

I sooo get you.. hehe. It's a girl thing, no? Don't make yourself think that you're selfish because lots of other girls do it too. Guys just get, um, a bit settled and lazy after being in the relationship for a while. As for the subtle hinting, very few men actually have the ability to notice it, frustrating but sabar saja.. hehe

When I tell my bf off when he's 'slow', he would reciprocate by saying: Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. I guess he thinks there shouldn't be more arguing after that. Heh.
